Richard Noel, the young Caribbean designer best known for his brilliant merging of simplistic, refined, feminine elements, utilizing unique cuts, fabrics and print; has managed to create a brand which embodies exotic elegance. Based primarily in Trinidad & Tobago, Richard first debuted his collection at Red Runway 2014 and after a successful showing, went on to participate in Makin’ Style 2014; a fashion workshop produced by Christopher Nathan, Chief Executive of Coco Velvet International Fashion and Model Management. Following a great introduction, Richard became the recipient of the The Most Outstanding Participant Award and has since continued to build his brand and clientele.

Officially
operating for the past two years, his brand has managed to capture the hearts
of a wide audience throughout the region. As a fashion designer, his greatest
desire is to capture the relaxed & serene beauty of the Caribbean and its
people through a variation of original designs ranging from swimwear to wedding
dresses with the Caribbean woman in mind. Managing to keep within the brand’s
vision, he has provided a fresh perspective towards high-end Caribbean fashion
whilst affording women the perfect marriage between exotic resort wear and red carpet
elegance.

In
2016 Richard set out to find his brand a new face with his national model
search, ‘The Face and Muse of RN,” which he successfully launched the year
prior. This time with the support of local fashion guru Christopher Nathan, who
took the finalists’ training to the next level by fine-tuning their skills and
making them industry-ready. The selected model would proceed to participate in
the brand’s promotions and campaigns which would go on to receive rave reviews
from an audience and fellow industry peers.

The young designer has definitely began blazing his very own path in our growing industry.
With his notable development and strengths, he’s continually challenged himself
in a significant journey of diverse creation and branding. Testing the
feasibility of new fashion lines such as RN Carnival Monday wear which was
piloted during Carnival 2017; first of many amazing RN designs that will be
showcased at the greatest show on earth.

Next on his agenda is to complete his degree in fashion design as he continues to work toward one day becoming the youngest franchise holder for the Miss Trinidad and Tobago Universe Organization. In the meantime, Richard’s focus remains on becoming a household name in the local and regional fashion industry and therefore sees great value in diligently working toward having RN designs available at boutiques and retail stores throughout the Caribbean to enhance the natural and colorful lifestyle of women who want to represent the Caribbean worldwide.
